Hey, Beauties! No one knew what to expect from this fashion season, but NYFW trends didn't disappoint. While some designers canceled shows completely, others opted for digital releases in the form of videos and lookbooks. Respectfully, some designers took the time to raise political awareness and encourage citizens to vote.

Despite difficult circumstances surrounding covid, the fashion cycle never stops. In fact, the 2021 NYFW trends are just the dose of inspiration we need to feel like ourselves again. Read on to see where you can shop these trends today.

Face Masks

First, the most obvious trend: face masks. As the pandemic continues, so does social distancing, but it shouldn't stop you from showcasing your personal style. This fall, designers affirmed that masks are here to stay (not that they had much of a choice). Take a look at Studio 189's masks to get inspired.

Bright and Beyond

In 2021, bright colors are the new black. Designers didn't shy away from bold pink, yellow, blue, and green hues. For example, Jason Wu's Tulum inspired collection featured an array of beautiful earth tones and vibrant colors. On the other hand, Tom Ford created a '70s-escapist collection full of neon-colored pieces.

Cutouts

Cutouts are one of the sexiest NYFW trends. Few can match LaQuan Smith's skin-tight, cutout designs in his latest collection. For next spring/summer, refresh the sliver of skin trend and look for cutouts in unique places.

Luxury Loungewear

Loungewear is here to hang loose for the long haul. By this point of quarantine, you've likely hired on your sweatpants full time and furloughed your jeans. 2021 NYFW trends call for an upgrade to your closet with luxurious loungewear.

Floral Print

Several designers used nature themes and motifs this fashion week. Anna Sui's latest collection, for instance, featured hand-embroidered flowers on some garments. Play around with styling floral prints; for example, wear a monochrome print for a clean look and opt for small prints for a subtle effect.
